Fredrick Frostic

  • Former Project Manager providing support for the U.S. Commission for National Security in the 21st Century (Hart-Rudman Commission). Responsible for writing and publishing seven reports for the Commission to include in the Homeland Security Implementation Plan.
  • Former Project Manager for strategy development for the Presidential Commission for Critical Infrastructure Protection (Marsh Commission). Cited in the Commission's report to the President for advice and support.
  • Served as a Presidential appointee on the congressionally mandated Long Range Airpower Panel.
  • Member of the National Academy of Science Standing Committee on Army Science and Technology for Homeland Security.
  • Responsible for the Secretary’s Contingency Planning Guidance to unified combatant commanders for development of war plans. Led policy review of plans for OSD.
  • Senior Engineer/Associate Program Director, RAND, 1989-1994. Led research team in conducting a successful $10M annual study program. Also worked as the Study Director on three of the six largest projects during this time period.
  • Deputy Director, Fighter Division, Hq USAF Studies and Analyses. Conducted a series of studies used to shape the decisions on major aircraft and weapons acquisitions programs.
  • Assistant Professor of Engineering Sciences, U.S. Air Force Academy. Taught six different courses in engineering and mathematics. Course director for graduate level dynamics course. Served as an assistant wrestling coach.
